Why might a gamer need to change the IP address and how to do it?

Changing a static address is much more difficult. Changing such an IP by simply restarting the router does not work, you need to use additional software to change it.

To change the address on the game server or on Steam, you must change the address on the entire computer, and not just inside the browser.
